The Hessman Family

We had an incredibly mild winter this year, with only one light snow… until this past weekend.  Starting Friday afternoon it began raining ice pellets.  A downpour of ice pellets.  It looked like we had at least 2-3 inches of pure ice on everything, finally saturday it changed to snow. And a blizzard it was!  The weather lasted until just after noon, then it was time for Hannah to head outside and have some fun in the snow.

Even after all that snow and ice, the temp climbed into the 50’s on Sunday, and almost all of it was gone.  By Monday it was in the mid sixties… unfortunately freaky weather is the norm in Kansas.  You never know what to wear one day to the next.
